Cornflower, or bachelor’s Button, is an annual flowering plant in zones 2 through 7 and perennial in zones 8 through 10. These are very easy-to-grow seeds. Max height is approximately 24 to 36 inches tall. Great mix of color for the garden—plant in spring after frost danger has passed. Bloom time is late spring and early summer, but they will produce all season long if cut back. Bachelor buttons have been found in gardens for centuries. These flowers grow in well-drained full, sun locations and are low maintenance.
